1. Availability of Goods and Services
The provision of goods and services by KFRCOOL Air Conditioning is always subject to their availability. We strive to maintain accurate inventory information, but occasionally, unforeseen circumstances may affect product availability.
2. Refunds for Unavailability
In the event that goods or services ordered are unavailable after payment has been successfully processed, KFRCOOL Air Conditioning will promptly notify you. We will then issue a full refund to the client within 7 days of confirming the unavailability of the product or service. This timeframe allows for necessary administrative processing to ensure your funds are returned efficiently.
3. Cancellation of Orders by the Client
Should a client choose to cancel an order, a 10% administration fee will be applied to the refund amount. This fee helps to cover the administrative costs associated with processing and reversing the order. We encourage customers to carefully review their orders before finalising their purchase.
4. Product Warranties
KFRCOOL Air Conditioning stands behind the quality of its products, backed by comprehensive warranty coverage.
- Samsung and Alliance Aircon Products (3-Year Warranty):
Our Samsung and Alliance brand air conditioning units are covered by an extensive 3-year warranty. To ensure the validity of this warranty, the following conditions must be met:- Authorized Installation: The unit must be installed exclusively by an installation company authorized by KFRCOOL Air Conditioning. This ensures correct installation procedures and prevents damage from improper setup.
- Adherence to Service Guidelines: The unit must be serviced regularly as per the guidelines specified on the warranty card. Regular maintenance is crucial for optimal performance and warranty validity.
- Product Registration: The customer is required to register their purchased product online on the respective brand's official warranty registration website: www.fourwaysaircon.co.za or www.allianceair.co.za.
- All Other Warranties:
For all other products not explicitly mentioned above, the applicable warranties are as stipulated and detailed on the KFRCOOL Air Conditioning website. We encourage you to review the specific product pages or contact our support team for warranty details pertaining to individual items.
5. Return Process for Faulty or Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty or damaged product, please contact KFRCOOL Air Conditioning immediately.
- Notification: You must notify us within 2 days of receiving the goods, providing details of the fault or damage and supplying photographic evidence if possible.
- Assessment: We will arrange for an assessment of the item, which may involve an inspection by an authorized technician.
- Resolution: Based on the assessment, we will determine the appropriate course of action, which may include repair, replacement, or a refund, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
6. Non-Returnable Items
Please note that certain items may be non-returnable due to their nature, including but not limited to:
- Items that have been installed or used (unless faulty).
- Items where the packaging has been damaged or is missing, rendering the product unsaleable as new.
- Custom-ordered or specially manufactured items.
This will be clearly communicated at the point of sale where applicable.
7. Refund Payment Method
Refunds will generally be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed upon. Please allow for standard banking processing times for the refund to reflect in your account.
